Vickie Adams began her career on the trading floor of a major brokerage firm. She went on to manage the personal portfolios of several high net worth individuals.
Realizing the need for that caliber of personalized service and expertise on a local level, she opened her own boutique wealth management firm in 1991. Vickie has over 25 years of professional experience in the financial services industry providing a broad range of financial and advisory services for her clients.
Vickie earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ professional designation from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado in 1991. She has completed the training from the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst as well as Collaborative Divorce training from LACFLA.
Her passion for providing unbiased, financial information to women in their quest for financial independence, led her to create the not-for-profit Southbay Divorce Workshop, which provides legal, financial and emotional support for women in the divorce process with the assistance of participating attorneys and therapists. She speaks regularly to groups of women on subjects like taking financial control of your divorce and financial management in widowhood. She also takes an active role in the Mentor Program in the Los Angeles Chapter of the Financial Planning Association.
Vickie is a member of the Financial Planning Association, Association for Divorce Financial Planning, Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association, an Associate Member of the CA Marriage and Family Therapists, The Southbay Bar Association, and the California Divorce Planners Network. She acts as a qualified financial mediator and financial neutral and has completed the Mosten Mediation training.
A resident of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, Vickie loves the beach lifestyle. She is a lifelong athlete and avid fitness enthusiast. While her greatest devotion is to her family, it’s followed closely by her love of football, both College and NFL as well as her roses.
